Club for Boys hits the books |

Many months of hard work pay off with a pizza party and games at the Rapid City Club for Boys.It was a special celebration Friday for all the participants in the club's Homework Help Program, which is
everyday after school during the school year.Jake Backes, the director of education at the Club for Boys, says, "It's not only fun for the boys but it's also our way of congratulating them; our way of saying good job so that we're encouraging them not only to participate in our programs here but also to stay in school and to do well."Now, the club starts its Adventures in Reading summer reading program, where boys can earn prizes based on their number of reading minutes. |
