Many hungry boys at the Club for Boys got to feast on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner a day early. The club hosted the dinner for members and their families Wednesday evening.Executive director Scott Bader says it's a good opportunity for the boys to show their families their home away from home.

Bader says "Some of these kids spend a lot of time down here, so it's a good chance for them to bring their families down ... and show them what they do all day long and have them meet the staff. And it's just fun to get together."

Bader says they started the annual Thanksgiving dinner at the club back in the 1970s, when fewer than 200 people would attend.Wednesday night, they expected more than 400.
