On the hardwood, it was a huge weekend for both the Black Hills State men and women. The men picked up a pair of victories over Jamestown and Valley City St. After starting out DAC play 1-2, the Yellow Jackets have won 6 of their last 7.

The women also earned a weekend sweep which included a win over the Jimmies, who entered the game as the seventh ranked team in the country. The Lady Jackets are also on fire, winners of their last seven conference games and last eight overall.

More importantly, both the men and women used the pair of wins to over take first place in the conference. The women are a half game up on Jamestown with only four games left to play. On the men's side, Valley City State, Minot State, and Dickinson State are all right on BH's heels, but the Yellow Jackets are a game up in the loss column.

Both the men and women are on the road this coming weekend against Dakota State and Mayville State.
